Our Approach to Working with Adults
We work with a wide variety of people
- people in their late teens through to individual adults, couples, parents and grandparents,
- those who are super-confident as well as the majority who have less confidence in front of a camera,
- people who want personal brand photos for themselves or their business as well as adults who want to explore doing a great photoshoot 'just for themselves',
- we work with people of all shapes and sizes, so whatever yours might be we'll work with you to understand how you feel about yourself, then together we'll create a range of photos you'll love.
It's all about helping you feel great about yourself
We've worked with over 100 adults across a wide variety of photoshoots, ranging from people used to being in front of the camera, to the majority who are definitely not. So we'll let you into a little secret - if you saw a photo of any of these people from our photoshoots you'd think they were the most confident person in the world, used to being in front of the camera everyday of their lives. Yet the opposite was true - 99% of these people were not at all confident when they turned up at the photoshoot (and the other 1% were probably lying!). Many of them mentioned they were nervous, or didn't know what to do, or didn't like this or that about their physical appearance - yet by the time the photoshoot was over they were all extremely happy, with 97% of them rating us 8 out of 10 or higher.
We offer a range of styles
We can tailor what we do so that it matches the style that you'd love to have - we can do any of these:
- urban photoshoots, with a range of artificial backgrounds, such as concrete or brickwork - these can be great for those photos with a bit more attitude,
- rural photoshoots, where the backgrounds are all beautiful and natural, usually with lots of greens and browns depending on the time of year,
- indoors at your home, where we create beautiful photos of you in the comfort of your own home,
- at work, where the photoshoot deliberately presents you in your working environment,
- in a studio, where we can control the backgrounds, for example bright white or black backgrounds to give a really contemporary feel (we can also do this in your home or work, if you have sufficient space, as we run a professional mobile studio that we can bring to you).
The reason we love what we do
Photos are such a strange thing really. At the most basic level they're just an image of you that everyone else sees all of the time - really simple. Yet in reality it's much more complicated than that, because it's actually about how you see yourself - it's your impression of how you look. Like many people you're probably quite modest - perhaps you're someone who might stretch to an "I look ok", but maybe you'd never say the words "actually, yes I do look great". Perhaps you're like most people, where you have very few photos of you that you actually like, let alone love. We're here to change that - we know we can, as we do it all the time. One of the things we're proud of doing with many of our photoshoots is helping our customers walk away with a new-found confidence in themselves - it's not just about the photos. We want you to feel proud when you own the photos we create together - proud of you and how great you look. We really will achieve that together.
