In the cobbled streets of London we did this really enjoyable photoshoot of a female guitarist – we felt the black and white versions looked so much better than the colour ones.

Posted onIn a single photoshoot, with a change of clothes, a jacket and a coat – we were able to create a wide variety of wallart for this mum and her daughter. We always suggest that if you can, please bring along a spare outfit, or an extra coat or jacket (or both, as was the case in this photoshoot). That way we can make a single photoshoot look like two or more photoshoots.

Female musician photoshoot
Posted onThis was a photoshoot of someone who was a musican and singer who wanted a range of photos for her portolio. She was wearing a bright yellow outfit, so we felt the best thing was to find somewhere equally as bright to create a really eye-catching portrait. We added the super cool sunglasses, plus the cigarette to given this a cool look that worked really well.

In the urban pinks
Posted onSometimes you get fabulously lucky in a photoshoot. We were heading to an area that we’d used many times before, only to find that someone had stretched these bright pink and orange strings in front of a large piece of street-art.
Lucky for us the string was an exact match to this woman’s pink-died hair. It makes for a really interesting portrait that’s a long way from what you’d normally expect. It’s a riot of colour, but it looks fabulous as an unusual personal portrait.

Posted onWe just ADORE hats – whether they’re on adults, children or babies, they look great and they’re so much fun. We tried two different hats on this young girl during a studio photoshoot with her family – they look fantastic.

Posted onDuring the summer months these fields of yellow rapeseed look fabulous, so for this family photoshoot we suggested a red dress would be a great colour to contrast against the field of bright yellow. Not only does it look great, but we had a lot of fun throughout this photoshoot.
What you can’t see, however, is the small stepladder that we used to get to a higher position than this young girl who was waist-high in the bright yellow flowers, which really made a difference.

Posted onThis style of photoshoot was one of our Experience Photoshoots, where we work with a family for a longer period of time. These photoshoots work best in outdoor locations. During one of these Experience Photoshoots we try to blend into the background to capture the very real memories that happen as the family experiences part of their everyday life.
For this photoshoot we went for a walk together in a lovely green nearby cornfield. Although we will do some posed photos, many of the photos from this type of photoshoot are more likely to be candid, informal photos where the family aren’t looking onto the camera.
